What do you do when you're a homeless kid on the streets of Gotham? Becoming a criminal is SO straight-forward, so how about something new? Dick Grayson and Wally West, or better known as Robin and Finch, are robbers with a seemingly random pattern and motive. But what happens when a Bat figures out it's not so random, and these teen-aged criminals are not as "bad" as they make themselves out to be? One Young Justice encounter later, and the pair fight for their lives; their lives as either criminals or what they can become. I don't own DC or any references made in this. I don't own the beautiful story cover so full rights to whoever owns what. Also, Birdflash. Don't like, don't read. My first story, so please don't hurt me. Also, cursing. Wanting to be a superhero and becoming one, are two completely different things. But becoming the opposite? That's way easier. And sometimes it's not on purpose. Fate didn't want me to be a hero. I was a fairly normal girl, growing up in Central City. A city where superheroes and super villains didn't exist... until the particle accelerator exploded. Many people were turned into these metahumans, me being one of them. Likely one of the only changed nine year olds at the time. My parents were both scientists for Star Labs, being two of the many others that died in the blast. Needing to get away, I decided to move to Gotham. A good city to hide in. Maybe it wasn't the best city to move to, but, in the end, I'm glad I did. In the crazy town, I was adopted by the two craziest people there. The Deranged Duo, Harley Quinn and Joker. "Rescued by villains, who knew?" I say. "Villains rescue fellow villains," Joker says. "Sounds funny coming from you," I scoff. "Aww, is that the way you should treat your saviors?" Joker teases. "I could've taken them," I scoff. "Why did you save me?" "We watched you take out the last group of thugs," Harley says. "We've been looking for a protégé, sorta like how Batsy has that sidekick, Robin, was it?" Joker grins. "We like you. You're funny." ... All her life Robin had always been the geeky girl with her head stuck in a comic, she had few friends and a small family consisting of a kitten and an adoptive parent. Life was pretty average and normal until someone from a different world took her life and revealed a reality which all seemed too impossible to be true. After discovering who she really was, could she ever go back to the life she had, to being the person they knew her to be. Robin had to decide, would she reminisce on the past or look forward to a new future. [This book focuses mainly on the bat family, however it may include other DC characters for example characters from Young Justice and the Justice League etc.] *I only own my OC, the rest of the characters are owned by DC comics (and there also may be some marvel characters mentioned which of course belong to Marvel)

Deciding to test out this myth and see if Gotham's Dark Knight actually exists they invite him to join the Justice League and after much convincing from his children he accepts the offer only to find that there's one young protégé who could use an escape from his very neglectful pseudo father. So what happens when the Bats Dad Mode is activated and he decides to adopt this young clone? Read to find out... ;) I don't own anything except for the Plot!!
