Katy Pierce was a quiet girl, not well known, kept to herself really. She got good grades, was always kind to everyone. But behind closed doors, Katy was brutally abused emotionally by the loss of her dear family. No one but Katy knows what happened to her family, well her and their deranged murderer. Katy never knew why her family was stripped from her on that fateful night, and she never wanted to. She just wanted to mourn in peace. But when her best friend Lily starts to get curious about her family, Katy must work to try and cover up her past. How can she do that when all of a sudden she starts to receive attention from the "popular" kids at her school, and people want to know more about her?
