Often jokes are made about rebellious teenagers and what not but, do people ever look from the rebellious side? The answer . . . No, simple as that. The people who 'joke' are scared, scared of what may come after the resistance. People are scared of change, that we know. With homophobia, sexism, and racism being put to a stop those, the ones with privileges (aka. Straights, whites, men, et cetera) are fearful of being overpowered by those they have overlooked. The world is changing. The Samuels were poor when they lived in Iowa they had a house that would constantly flood, and catch fire, they also had barley any money due to rent so, they ate from the dollar store. Elke father, Micheal went in search of a business to start and run in Idaho. They ended up buying a car lot and moving away to go run it. The family was successful in their act that they gained more money, to take care of their two daughters. Janani was the oldest daughter 5 years older than Elke. Everyone thought that Janani was the rebellious one, she acted like a normal teenager going out to parties, getting a tattoo and sneaking out occasionally. Elke on the other hand, was a great student and loved to read, she would NEvEr sneak out. It must have been the Slytherin in her because she was very cunning when it came to breaking the rules. One day she thought her parents were out so she invited some 'friends' over. You could imagine her parents surprise when they caught her drunk with 2 people in her room. After that Elke really didn't care, her parents wouldn't trust her especially since her sister went off to college, so she went all out with this bad girl act. Oof sorry for the bad description I running out of words, but it's about a girl who grew up poor her family moves gets more money and she moves back to her old town, small town, lots of rumors, she bi. Pronounced: Elke- El keh Janani- jah nah knee

"Just wondering, Shoemaker. Are you going to tell your parents? Or should I?" When I was little, I was terribly afraid of heights. One day, in a bleak attempt to rid me of this, my father climbed onto the roof of our one story house with me on his back. I may have been hyperventilating, but otherwise I was doing well- until my foot slid across the shingles. It was only a foot or two that I moved, but my heart stopped. Right now, I feel like I've slid ten feet down the roof of my house on a bitterly cold day. "Because, last I remember, aren't they kind of conservative?" he continues. August is a 16-year-old closeted bisexual girl. When a girl moves in next door, her calm life is slightly shaken, and then turned upside down. Because she isn't just any girl next door: Emily is a gorgeous, red-haired, baseball-playing, fully out-and-proud lesbian. When the two girls grow close, things begin to change in their small town. ***Cover made by Emmy07*** (FICTION) (ROMANCE) (HUMOR) (GIRLxGIRL) (GIRLxBOY) (C) 2012 S.W. Stromberg. All Rights Reserved.
