In this world, the society has become split according to the color of each individual's personality. Each color of the rainbow corresponds to a specific set of personalities. A supposed utopia where everything and everyone is where it's supposed to be, but nothing's really perfect...right? This system does indeed, have its flaws. Its strictness is absolute, and defiance will have everyone berate and criticize. "STAY WITH YOUR OWN COLOR" goes beyond everything, the society shuns at those who choose to stray. This practice goes as far as parents coldly abandoning their own children for the sole reason of being classified into a different color, to them it is taboo; thus the ever-increasing amount of orphans. The so called utopia is nothing but a dystopian society full of labels and judgements masked by seamlessness, and so-called "order".

"Rainbow Strings" follow the lives of of seven individuals, each from a different faction than the rest, who seem to have gotten involved and drawn to one another thanks to the persistence and persuasions of a certain man who calls himself as "The Red String of Fate". A story that takes you on an emotional journey as these individuals fight for their place in society, doing their best to endure all the hardships that life throws at them, and backlash for disobeying the system just to be with each other.

They form their non-aggressive vigilante group called the "Rainbow Strings", a tribute on how they all started with a predestined fate in accordance to their color faction, and now those destinies have intertwined with one another, overlapping- creating new experiences and possibilities.

Note: Parts of the story will be told in an omnibus format that focuses on unfolding certain events and interactions between specific characters, rather than all of them at the same time. All stories are somewhat connected to another, might it be in a loose, or heavy way. Chapters featuring all of them will be reserved for later on.

"I wish I had never met you!" Deepika's voice echoed across the classroom, each word a dagger to my heart. "Excellent! At least we finally agree on something!" I fired back, even as a tear betrayed the storm of emotions within me. With those final, stinging words, Deepika stormed out, leaving a heavy silence in her wake. The classroom felt like a graveyard, and I stood there, rooted to the spot, desperately wishing I could chase after her and demand the truth. Maybe letting her go was the right choice. Perhaps this is meant to be my unfinished love story, a tale of what-ifs and almosts... ✨ No Deepika. This can't be his bike. Not Arjun's. But I couldn't deny what I saw-the familiar brown Royal Enfield, now twisted and crushed. My heart hammered as I circled around, hoping, praying it wasn't true, until my gaze landed on the number plate: TN56 0809. Arjun's bike. Deepika! Stop imagining things! Arjun would be fine! I felt the world shift, the noise around me blurring into a single, deafening hum. Ambulance and police sirens echoed, and a stranger's voice broke through: "Two boys. Spot dead. College students." I clutched my chest, gasping for air as reality slammed into me. "Arjun..." I whispered, barely holding myself together. Tears stung my face as I sank beside the wreck. "No, Please, No!" My voice cracked as the weight of regret settled in, suffocating me. ✨ Ex-Crush: More than just a crush, but a little less than love. ✨ Arjun and Deepika were hopelessly in love-only they never realized it. Will they find their way to each other, or will their love story remain forever unfinished? ✨ Join Arjun and Deepika on a journey back to those dreamy college days-days where every moment felt eternal, love was unspoken yet ever present, where friendship bloomed like wildflowers, offering a sanctuary from the harsh winds of reality. Come, wander with them through the corridors of college days, where the echoes of laughter still linger.
