Emily is a muggle born, or a "mud-blood". She was sitting on the porch rail of her house when all of the sudden, she saw a head glinting in the bright sunlight. As it got closer, she recognized the face, Draco Malfoy.
"Why would he be at my house?!" She though as he walked up the steps and smiled at her. She gasped and stared at him in amazement.
"You look like a goldfish. But honestly, do you want to come hang out at my house? I called your dad and he said to walk up and that you were on the porch." He said raising his eyebrows.
"Well, um, I guess. I thought you hated muggle borms and Gryffindor's though," She said a bit confused.
"You are different. I can feel it. We can be friends. In secret. Away from my family. And we can have our own world," He said
"Alright," she said as they walked off towards Malfoy Manor.

Draco met her, the day she moved in, but for a quick glimpse before his father became suspicious once again. From then on, he wrote letters to her, and she wrote back every time. Draco even wrote back from Hogwarts, as well as keeping every single letter in a box under his bed. But half way through the fifth year at Hogwarts, she received a letter, this time from Professor McGonagall. Utterly confused, she attended the school, but something seemed strange about this new girl, everyone seemed to know who she was, besides Malfoy himself.
