Detective Danny Reagan was having a hard time adjusting to life as a widower. He had been shutting himself out of the world for six months now. His family is worried about him, not knowing what to do to help.
Why, all of a sudden, is Danny drawn to New Jersey? What will he find there? Will it give him some satisfaction? Or will it drive him to be a hermit and quit his job?

They were unable, or maybe just unwilling, to be in the places where their friends once walked. They chose to escape the world of demigods while they still could. Maybe she had even managed meet his mother and they were watching him now... though he honestly hoped they weren't. Phantom Pains "The pain of feeling something that is missing" - Even before Danny died, she felt like something was missing. It was like her soul knew she wasn't complete.
