"Ana. I promise you that no matter what happens my feelings won't change about you." He said, inching closer to her face. She could feel his minty breath on her cheek, creating a tingling sensation around her body. She craved his touch more than anything at the moment.

"How can you be completely sure about that?" Although she believed him, she still tested him to see how far he would go. He chuckled deeply, their lips lightly brushing against each other. At the last minute, he shifted to move towards her ear.

"Believe me, sweetheart. I'm certain." he simply stated before finally closing the gap between them.
