Nestled in a crater, surrounded by rolling hills, lives a small town. The small town of August, Vermont. People thrive in the town of August, and more so thanks to the genetic research facility of Frequency Tech. It's a friendly city. Quiet. Safe. Is what they told us. Fed us. Screwed into our brains, stained our beliefs with. Five teens have been dragged into the deepest secrets of the little town. Not by their choice, but by something way bigger than them. As they deal with these secrets and the events that follow, they'll have to deal with the weight of their world on their shoulders. And the weight of others. All decisions come with a cost. All actions have consequences. Accept them, or try to avoid them, but they will catch up to you. This book is 100% inspired by Kollok 1991, an interactive live ttrpg broadcasted on HyperRPG's twitch, every Monday at 6 PST. The past broadcasts can be found on their YouTube Channel. The people over there deserve the credit for the outline of the story, and if you could take the time in your day, whether your into table top role play games or not, because I wasn't, kollok is their story, your story, my story. Thank you.

[DISCONTINUED] **MATURE LANGUAGE AND CONTENT** **POSSIBLE TRIGGERS** WATTYS2018 I walk down the staircase, entranced with his sharp, angular features. I notice how his lip curls up at the edge when he sees me. A soft breeze blows his scent across the room, and I can't think. Roses and salty ocean waves fill my nostrils. Add sunlight to the mix- which shouldn't have a smell but Luna, he smells like it- and I'm pretty sure if I could open my mouth, I'd be drooling. 'Mate.' My wolf whispers, giddy. I scramble back up the stairs. ____________________ Opening up when something terrible happens is hard. Near impossible. Jessamine Lightly was as normal as a Lycanthrope could be, but also a self-conscious teenager who felt a little out of place. Hiding her physical and emotional pain from her family, Jessa copes with scarring memories and revelations. Intent on escaping her personal devil, Jessa plans to leave her pack. But having her mate- that she doesn't want- show up on her doorstep could change everything. Love, pain, twisted agendas and more...Jessamine goes through it all.
