September Floundry is a seventeen year old girl who is on the run from the law after robbery gone wrong. Deciding that turning into an alleyway was the only way to escape leads her straight in the arms of Jason Williams. Otherwise known as a soldier in the Lombardi Mafia crime family.

After socking him in the jaw and accidently revealing his drug dealing spot to the cops, September finds herself in front of Vincent Gadagino, caporegime of the Lombardi family.

As punishment, Vincent has her work as a associate for his family... and has Jason take September under his wing.

And that's how they became... Partners.
