It's finally senior year at private high school, Grandview Prince. Kate Richards decides to sign up for this year's tutoring program, since she's so academically strong. The only problem is that this involves working with the people she can't stand, popular kids. Emmett Walton is depending on his sports to get him through his last year at Grandview Prince. However, he can't stay in them with his failing grades, forcing him to join the tutoring program also. Just a few months of tutoring bring the two together in unimaginable ways. They both begin to realize what it's like on the other's side of the story. Through this new connection some other feelings might begin to arise on both their parts, leaving their lives changed forever.

they've known of each other for three years-same hallways, same classes, same friend groups orbiting around each other. but 'knowing of' someone isn't the same as knowing them. rory is blunt. she's a little closed off, and saves her best self for only the people who deserve it. but once you've pushed past that guard, she's full of light. kane is quiet, and humble; but beneath that, he's observant, tentative, kind, and annoyingly hot. senior year throws them together when he starts tutoring her, and suddenly, they're seeing each other in a way they never did before. kane can't handle being the centre of her attention. rory wants to know more. however, it turns out that getting to know someone can feel a lot like falling. and maybe, it's worth the risk.
