The Pride Before The Fall

Christopher Slater grew up on a small farm, located on the outskirts of Argus. Living around the city's perimeter, he often caugt sight of the occasional Huntsman, or Atlas soldier, exterminating the occasional Grimm that had managed to slip into the city limits. Growing up, he admired them for their service, and courage, so he had decided at a young age, that he didn't just want to be like them, but he wanted to be the best among them! Once his Semblance unlocked however, he found out that He should've been more careful about what He wished for, as all of the challenge from fighting Grimm had simply just vanished. Any normal person would just refrain from using their semblance to keep things interesting, but poor Chris doesn't have the option. His fraternal twin brother Anthony tries his best to help reignite his brothers lost love for combat by convincing him to enroll in Haven Academy alongside him. Will Christopher finally find a foe that can give him enough of a challenge to re-kindle his lost love for combat? Or will he only end up wasting his time? Only one thing is truly for certain. Christopher should really be more careful about what he wishes for...
