Maxine has a tough life, her father died when she was young, her mother remarries a mentally unstable ex-politician and her brother is in juvi. One strange morning she is murdered and wakes up as a ghost. With the help of her new love interest Patrick (also a ghost) and her human best friend Hannah, she helps learns the ways of the ghosts. And jus in time for their is evil lurking just around the corner.
