Since its founding, Herrigrad has been ruled by an immortal, all-powerful, unforgiving king. Herrigrad's people are oppressed and sick of his rule, but it is impossible to destroy the king without lifting the curse. Thousands of centuries ago humans, vampires, and werewolves lived together in harmony, considering one equal to the other. A massive war broke out between the vampires and the werewolves and millions of lives were lost.
