Just keep running. That's all I can say to myself. Just keep running.

The trees and bushes keep moving past me in a blur as I try to find my way out of this dense jungle. The birds and animals making loud noises and scurrying away as I run past them, disturbing them in their peaceful state. Right now the only thing I am worried about is getting away and disappearing. I try not to think of the animals that would not run if they saw me, but would begin to chase me instead.

I am running from enough- I thought to myself as I kept pushing my feet to move forward. How long have I been running?

After running for what seems like hours I have to stop and catch my breath. I was never an athletic person and my lungs are on fire right now. But as soon as I stop to breathe, I can hear them close behind me. How can they still be following me? How do I get out of here? I have to start running again..

All of a sudden I feel something wrap around my foot, making me crash to the ground, and hit my head on a large tree truck that was a few feet in front of me. My last thought was oh no... and then everything went black.

Amber Tate just turned 22, and for her birthday her boyfriend got her tickets to go to Costa Rica with her sister and friends as a girls trip to celebrate. Little did she know this would be anything but a relaxing trip to get her mind off of school and work. She just graduated with her bachelors and planned on continuing with her masters in the fall.
