The Mackenzie and Arrington family have been inseparable every since Hailey Arrington and Dana Mackenzie met in high school. Spending each holiday together, the two families have basically become one. All was well in their peaceful households, until Hailey and Dana recieve their twenty fifth class reunion invitations.  Wanting to show off their beautiful children, the two friends drag their entire family to the reunion. While there, the middle child of the Arrington household, Annalise,  recognizes a woman. Intrigued, Annalise becomes very close to the woman and -much to her family's disapproval- the woman's peculiar children.  Family, romantic, and teenage drama ensue.
