It's been years since the reaping of the famed Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, and now our story focuses on a different generation of teenagers, and curiously enough a seven-year old girl, participating in the annual Hunger Games. In a race where the tributes all struggle to make themselves stand out to survive, one particular group of allies unknowingly defy all laws of reality. Can the Capitol retain their sanity as they bear witness to the destruction of years worth of manipulation and intimidation, by a group of ragtag crazies and emotionally stunted teenagers no less?
"PeeNiss 4 Evah?" Joey read, disgusted. "Did someone just misspell the reproductive organ of the male specimen?"
"No, you idiot!" Katy snapped, inspecting the writing critically. "It's referring to the Peeta/Katniss pairing from the 74th annual Hunger Games."
Joey merely stared forward unbelievingly, as if shocked by the fact that she really didn't know everything. Katy scoffed at the piece of graffiti. "I can't believe Mom made my initials after this ho'," she grumbled

Everyone knows about the Rebellion Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark started right? Well let me take you back, remember the Rebellion that brought us the Hunger Games? Well no one knew about one spark of a rebellion in-between, the one that made one girl, Forever in The Hunger Games. Well, on the year of the 68th Hunger Games, eleven year old Lucinda Colden sparked Rebellion; she was taken by the Capitol, and was locked away for two months while the Capitol decided what to do with her. They made their decision that men were going to use her, and she was going to be tortured once every two months by being placed in a pool, and then it being electrified, to toughen her up for the years to come. Her main punishment, she was going to be placed in every Hunger Games, mutt or human, for the next twenty years. It is now the 74th annual Hunger Games, Lucinda has survived the past 6 Hunger Games. Now, her 7th has come, and she comes back as violent as ever. But when she finds the competition is high, she grows on three certain people. We know her story. But have you ever wondered what it was like on the home front, in District 12? This story is Gale's, his outlook on the games, his feelings about his best friend's situation, and his interactions with the people of District 12. The story is set during the time period of "The Hunger Games" (book one of the trilogy). It is written from the perspective of Gale Hawthorne, and does not concern any events in books two and three. This is my first fan fiction, my first "real" attempt at long form prose writing, and my first Wattpad story. I appreciate constructive feedback, but please, no hate. While the characters and some plot points are based off of Suzanne Collins's Hunger Games Trilogy, (which I in no way own the rights to) I have created this story using my own imagination. A boy named Peeta Mellark was reaped alongside her. These two come out of the games as "Starcrossed Lovers". This caused a few uprisings in some districts. President Snow doesn't want another rebellion so he sends Katniss and Peeta back into the games with other Victors from each district. This causes a whole other war and this time, the districts pull out on top. The Hunger Games are ended and Snow is executed and everyone is safe again. Yeah, let's fast foward about fifty years. Every one know the story of how my older sister, Katniss Everdeen, the girl on fire, and her fellow tribute, Peeta Mellark, won The Hunger Games.
