Everybody has a tattoo; they could be absolutely anywhere on your body. The tattoo begins appearing on the person's sixteenth birthday. Nobody has the same tattoo as they reflected the person's personality. They could be similar, but they are never duplicated. Depending on the person's soulmates mood, the colour of the tattoo changes. When they're mad, it turns a mix of deep red and orange, when they are embarrassed it changes to a bright yellow, when they are upset it turns blue, when they are feeling lonely it turns purple and so on. The only time the tattoo will light up and turn white is when the person and their soulmate are in a thirty foot radius and when you lock eyes with your soulmate, it begins to heat up. That's when you know you've finally found them.

Everyone is born with a special mark on their wrist and whoever has the same marking as you is your soulmate. And through my 21 years of living, not a single person has matched my mark. Everyone has a name on their wrist, the name of their soulmate. Of course, names are not completely unique, it's not that unusual to have the same name as your friend, it's not like it's going to be the same person, is it?

Everybody has them, they are just a mark that, maybe, shows up on your body. It's as common as a belly button. But, for Jihyo, it should have meant something more. It did, but not how she hoped, and she found herself learning how to face it from someone much more broken than herself.

Everyone is born with half a mark on their body. The other half being on their mates body. They share everything, every scratch, bump or bruise. Amora always wounder why she has so many of them.
