Nineteen years have passed since the fall of the Night King and the siege of King's Landing. House Targaryen rules Westeros and dragons rule the sky, land, and sea once again. In the wake of the last, a new generation blossoms; the one set to unite the kingdoms by blood.
Daenerys Targaryen took King's Landing that day, sealing Targaryen control of Westeros once and for all. Except this is not the story we were told. This is a story of what could've been.

This is a story about the generation after Daenerys Targaryen, Jon Snow, Sansa Stark, Cersei Lannister, and all the rest. Due to what was, in my opinion, a lack luster and rather disappointing end to Game of Thrones, I decided I wanted to tell a different tale. In this version, Dany is able to stay true to herself after losing those she held dear and seize King's Lansing without causing mass destruction. Upon taking the capital, she discovers she is pregnant with a daughter. In time, her daughter grows up to be a magnificent woman; albeit a bit different, and that is where our journey begins.

"Aegon the Conqueror took Westeros with fire and blood. But fire, once lit, can never truly die."
In Conquerors Come Again, the last heirs of House Targaryen carry the burden of their ancestor's legendary conquest. Daenerys Targaryen and her remaining family members have watched their family's empire fall, their dragons fade, and their name turn to a whispered legend. Now, they stand as the last embers of a dynasty that once ruled with unbreakable power.
Driven by the blood of the dragon, they set out to reclaim the Iron Throne, crossing paths with enemies and allies who would see their fire extinguished for good. But power has a price, and they must decide how much of themselves they are willing to sacrifice to rise from the ashes of history. Their path is uncertain, their bond tested, and the legacy of the Conqueror waiting to be reborn. For in the end, the Targaryens are either conquerors... or nothing at all.
