In a world of death and destruction, Veronica only had one wish. To die. To be free of all of these terrible things, and people. To not have to live in the rubble leftover from a town she once knew and loved. There's only one problem. Her only friend, the only person she was ever able to trust won't let her, because he has a plan. He wants to go to The Promise Land.
