A Different Destiny / Merthur
A Merthur fic set in canon era. After two years of putting up with his useless excuse for a manservant, Arthur begins to suspect that there may be more to Merlin than meets the eye. But Merlin's not the only one with a secret. And maybe destinies aren't always as they seem. AU where I use elements of all five seasons in a way that does not always comply with canon. Merlin's Son: A Tale old as Time • Merthur
Freya lives the attack, only just. But when she dies giving birth, Merlin's Son is born just before the Tears of Uther Pendragon, what will Merlin do to protect his child? What will Arthur do, when he finds out? Based of the series, but not completely. Featuring Merthur, Arthur 'not being a stupid prat', Good Morgana, Gwen and Lancelot and a whole lot of cuteness. Here's a snippet from one of the chapters: "I do not want your gold! I want to live without being hunted, without fear. I want magic to be alive again!" He said and Arthur grinned. He didn't even have to think about it. Anything for you, Merls. "Done." --- *Disclaimer* I can't take credit for the cover as I found it on Pinterest, I don't own Merlin either, if I did Merthur would be more than just fanfiction, all rights go to the creators. Thanks for all of the love 🥺 btw this is also on AO3, if it is easier for you to read on there. The Once and Future King
Hello! This is my Merlin fanfiction. Since I know I will never get over how Merlin ended, I made this in modern times to describe how Arthur comes back. I do not own any of these characters. I may write a sequel to this story in the future. This story starts out with Merlin and tells a bit about his life since Arthur died. Until one day he sees Arthur running along the path. Merlin talks with Arthur and shortly figures out that he has no idea who Merlin is. Merlin must make Arthur remember and find out why Arthur has returned while restoring the friendship that they once had.Complete
