I Don't Need Saving

"Come on Danny! He cares about you. Just let him help you! Besides, a mess like you needs all the help you can get." Ally said with a bit of a smirk, despite the seriousness of the conversation.

"But here's the thing. I don't need help. I don't need his help. I don't need anyone's help! I am perfectly fine! I'm sick of how everyone thinks I need saving when in reality I just need everyone to back the hell up!" I said, throwing my arms up in frustration

"Danny, you and I both know that you are in need of serious help. I know it's hard for you to get close to anyone, especially after what you went through. But you need to get help. What you do to yourself, it's not healthy. And the way you think, it's going to eat you alive sooner or later Danny." She said.

I stood silent for a few seconds before finally saying "Well let's just hope it's sooner."
