"Anything and everything is possible in the Mysts."

Dr. Fred Williams has a secret. He fears its discovery when a daughter of his patient starts asking him about the City of Mysts. Fred is led to a website where a story about his past is told.

It speaks about him as a student in Roucan Academy. It is where he accidentally meets a mysterious girl called Electra. Through her, he enters the depths of the city's mysterious tunnels and into a world of enchantment. However, their friendship is cut short when tragedy strikes. The story ends with Fred leaving the city with her secret.

Intent on finding out who wrote the story - a prediction five years prior to the incident - Fred returns to the city. There, he crosses paths with a young woman who has Electra's face.

Things take a turn for the worst when dangerous people from his past start reappearing in his life.

There is a church in a small town in Germany which contains a relic, a small phial, in which there are said to be a few drops of the blood of Christ. Who knows if it is true? Does it really matter, anyway? Well, maybe it does now, for in this century, so far from the one when the phial first appeared, we are able to clone creatures from just tiny fragments of skin, hair, or, yes, blood. Scientists have cloned a woolly mammoth from fragments found under the frozen tundra. To make a human baby from a drop of ancient blood would be against all the ethical rules of science, but it could be done. Of course, it would take someone fairly crazy to attempt this. To create a person who might, if the stories are true, be a clone of Jesus Christ, would be, frankly, asking for trouble, to say the least. Still, some people are crazy, and some of those are rich too. At which point, let me introduce the characters in this story: Gabriel - a wealthy recluse for whom the bizarre is a way of making life interesting, and for whom other people's rules are just irritating details. Jane - a somewhat self-destructive young journalist. She has quite some strength of character, and plenty of talent, but she struggles to put the pieces of her life together. All she really needs though is a little direction. Teresa - the elegant Italian playgirl and thief with whom Jane is destined to fall unexpectedly in love. Cool, controlled, and addicted to risks. She tries to keep a professional distance from everything and everyone, but that will be difficult this time. Giuseppe - a policeman, approaching retirement, mildly disillusioned, and generally preferring books to action. He will find a little more adventure than he had expected in his last years of work, but also a chance of redemption. The others you will meet in due course.....

“Felicia,” he began. I didn’t know why he looked so desperately upset. He shouldn’t be upset. I should be, because somehow Mrs. Audrian’s pack had hurt mine and Daniel was part of this so called “pack.” Pack? Why did she say pack before? “Please-” I cut Daniel off by asking a question. “What did your mom mean by pack?” I demanded. He looked stunned by my question. His eyes showed bewilderment and shock and other emotions running wildly through his mind. I knew at that moment, he was hiding something. Something that not the average person would know or even ask. He remained quiet. I huffed. “WHAT DID YOUR MOM MEAN BY-”I shouted. Daniel leapt up and covered my mouth. I was 100% sure he was hiding a secret. A big secret. He sighed and said, “A pack is like a group of families living together under one leader even if they are not related, they are together always.” He slowly took his hands off my mouth. Almost unsure if he should do that or not. “A pack,” I began. “Is a term used for animals, and not humans,” I stated almost brutally. He looked down as if insulted. “Yes,” he answered. “You’re right. We aren’t humans.” I waited for him to finish his sentence, but I knew he couldn’t. So I did. “Because you are werewolves.” ------------------------------------------ Somehow, Felicia San Rossa's life gets turned into hell each time she finds peace in her life. Now, with a family and another world to accept, she finds another twist that will ruin everything she has so far accepted. It makes her life a living hell. Will she go back to the life she was living or leave to start a life anew..? ------------------------------------------ Started on: October 27, 2013 Ended on: December 30, 2013 ~First book of the Perfect Hell Series~ Second book: Heaven's Mistake
