Here it's a vampire only world where humans only exist in legend and animals are their only food source. It's a modern world but a parallel universe. 

The story is told by Avery Clemens. She goes through many challenges and struggles as she desperately tries to find her way through this backward world, discovering and unraveling secrets and conspiracies, finding things out about love, violence, family, the world, and herself.

If there's a way out it's far from within reach, but she isn't stopping any time soon.

(IN HARDCORE EDITING! - This is my baby. I have a good idea where I want this to go but I'm struggling with the in-between. Sadly I haven't revisited this story in ages.)
