Perhaps things would have turned out differently. Maybe I could have avoided what was to come. Maybe it's a game life wanted me to play, and there's no forfeiting or escaping. I simply have to follow the rules and hopefully make it to the final round, even if that means that I'll be buried six feet underground like him. __________________________________ "Things happen when you least expect them, whether they're good or bad, and in my case, it was everything and more."- Linda Smith Linda Smith, in a million years, never expected her life to take a crazy turn. To be handcuffed and blamed for a death no one saw coming. With a new identity and a new life, she is determined to find the true suspect. Can Linda prove her innocence, or will she share the same fate as Jacob, her now-dead boyfriend? Get A Life | ONC2023 Shortlist
While her best friend Cassidy snacks on brie and boys in France, Darcy Li-Quinn must face her last year of high school and the unpredictable wrath of her sister, Danica, alone. Darcy's plan for dealing with Danica and her heinous friends is simple-be invisible. But first, she's promised Cassidy she'll do 'one brave thing'. Mustering the courage to say 'hi' to the cute boy on the bus, Darcy expects rejection or indifference. She doesn't anticipate a grumpy ghost with unfinished business who needs her help. Suddenly, a quiet year of flying under the radar looks increasingly unlikely. *** Rationally, Hunter Viera knows that his brother's death wasn't his fault. But that doesn't stop his guilt about Archer invading his every thought or lessen the grief sitting heavy in his chest. Changing schools offers a fresh start, and Hunter's plan is simple-be invisible. But he hasn't counted on Darcy, or her ludicrous claim that Archer speaks to her from beyond the grave. Suddenly, a quiet year of sitting on the sidelines looks increasingly unlikely. *** This is a story about hearts and hope and public transport. This is Darcy and Hunter's story (and a little bit Archer's too). *** 'Get A Life' is my entry for Open Novella Contest 2023 and is inspired by the following prompts. 20. You finally build enough courage to talk to that cute someone you see every day on the bus. Their face turns dark as they respond "You shouldn't be able to see me." 9. There's an urban legend that's been circulating for years about a taxi cab that doesn't take you where you want to go, but where you need to go. One night, you stepped into this cab.Tamamlanmış Hikaye
Michael's Ghost Girl
This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room. Slowly the two begin to fall in love and Mariah tells him her story, and of the hidden danger that lies up the street from him. A dangerous strangers loves to kill little girls, and his sister KitTamamlanmış Hikaye
Ghost Games
'If you are reading this then you are Blissfully Unaware of what is Creeping right behind you.'- Unknown. ************************************ "I am not afraid." She said to herself trying to calm her heartbeats. She stood right in front of the dusty glass door. Placing both her hands on it she tried to push the door. For the split of a second she saw a young lady, her hands and face covered in blood, impatiently banging on the door. The wind around her went crazy. She heard random whispers in her head. Rhea was unable to focus on anything around her but the lady. The lady was saying something but for Rhea it felt like some random lips movement. She was scared out of her wits. Then suddenly everything went dead silent. The lady vanished. The whispers and the wind stopped. But then Rhea saw light imprints of blood on the glass door under the dusty layer. ************************************ This book basically contains short horror stories of my own imagination. They may be a bit creepy and weird but that's how the book goes. These stories are short but scary. I hope you'll enjoy them. It's my first book ever so please support it.Tamamlanmış Hikaye
Dead Hunting | Season 1 - "New Born"
Humans are fundamentally different. We look, act, feel, believe, and even talk differently. Our one connecting factor is that we are mortal. But if energy is not created nor destroyed... Where do we go when we die? Janet Allard, a rookie Paranormal Investigator who has a past with ghosts has dedicated her life to asking that question. To proving the reality that we do not go away when we die... And to find the ghost that traumatized her as a child. Fate is absolute. The stars will align. They will meet again. Memento Mori. THIS STORY WILL BE MARKED AS "COMPLETE" DESPITE NOT BEING FINISHED, This is done because this specific season of Dead Hunting is in-fact complete. Also, please be mean to Victor. He deserves it.Tamamlanmış Hikaye

A Pet for the Dragons
❝Three dragons and their naughty little pet.❞ There's a rule in piracy - never fuck with the Dragons because they burn you alive. Literally. I'm not a fan of following rules, especially when the Dragons' hoarding obsession makes them the wealthiest patrons. I shouldn't be surprised when I'm kidnapped by the dragons upon failing to fulfil my end of an important deal. As if my luck couldn't be more of a bitch to me, I get kidnapped by none other than the three Dragons from one of the most powerful clans in the Arctic- Radrox, Ivret and Zorge. Now that they have me, I must pay for my failed deal in cash or kind. But that's not what they seem to be interested in, especially with the dwindling population of dragon ladies and their dangerous obsession with me. Those three dragons are definitely going to burn me but with a different kind of fire. ~ It can be read as a stand-alone book. Themes: slow burn, some BDSM, smut (loads of it), dirty talking, knotting, breeding, reverse harem, romance, kink exploration, action, world-building and a purely character-driven plot with wholesome and humorous moments :) What's not in the book? - Grape. Even though there's a power imbalance between the FL and the MLs, whatever happens between them and her involves consent. No cheating. The MLs don't do each other in this book. ~ COMPLETE NEXT BOOK - A Plaything for the Dragons PREQUEL OF THIS BOOK - Her Alpha Mates
