"Because how does one continue through all this? Still keep pumping, unrelenting. Peter was jealous of his heart." Peter Parker accidentally gets himself captured and tortured. Every moment different to the next, his reality breaking and his sense of hope fading with every twisted moment spent in agony. When he is not being tortured, he is being sedated, drugged, paralysed, which further disorients him. Sometimes he cant tell the truth from reality.
