There are five kingdoms, the demons, the elves, the humans, the nymphs, and the were-creatures. One day a demon with hair and skin as dark as the night sky and eyes as red as rubies split the five lands and created strife between them. War broke out between the borders of these lands and the only way that it is said that they can be mended again is by five people of the five kingdoms who can find the good and evil in everyone. One day these five heroes will unite and save the kingdoms. Some may fall and some may rise, it all depends on which path they take.

Maximus Liam, Max, a seventeen-year-old werewolf finds he has some mysterious powers while at Ushio High School. He leaves the only home he has ever known and sets off with his best friend, Clover, a seventeen-year-old elf, to find out what these powers mean. He meets new friends and Lady Nefare Dragos a power-hungry empress who rules over the human kingdom, Humlik. Lady Nefare wants the power that Max and his friends possess for herself, and she will stop at nothing to take it.

Champions of Light: Gaëtano's Sword [Book One] by Natbug4545
20 parts Complete Mature
AVAILABLE ON AMAZON & KINDLE On the planet Keodis, upon the western continent, Uestron, inside the Raesifiin Empire, in the small naval city of Cyripo, the story begins when thirteen diverse strangers answer a strange pamphlet to a quest. The quest is to find a powerful gem in the Deep Forest, and then to use what powers it bestowed on them to delve into the Mountain Barrier. There, they will have to find the Light to dispel the growing Darkness within. Though this qest is honorable and righteous, the dangers that await them are exponentially worse than they could ever imagine. Whether they can save the world depends on whether they can survive themselves. Mature rating for blood, gore and depictions of violence. TW: mentions of drunkards and beer, mention of physical abuses, a description of trypophobia, claustrophobia, and other phobias, and descriptions of nasty cryptids. There is no depictions or allusions of sex, no f-bombs, or drug abuse. This story was started when I was in seventh grade. I finished the original when I was a senior in high school. Displeased with the finished product, I began to rewrite it here, starting June 2015, then again in 2020. I am quite satisfied with the result, and am sure this will be the final edition. This isn't the first book of the series, but there's no spoilers for 'The World is Larger than it Seems', so you can start on this one. The story is far from finished, however, and I hope to eventually finish the series.
