Kim Seokjin had a baby sister who was only 7 years old when he became a trainee for BTS at the beginning of 2011. While he missed Ryung-gi, he tried to stay in touch as much as he could. In the time he was away, he took on the role of helping to raise Jeon Jungkook, the maknae of BTS. However, in April of 2014, Jin got a phone call that changed his life forever. His parents were killed, his older brother with them, and Ryung-gi was clinging to her life. He was the only family she had, now legally guardian to the 10 year old.
