The crash that broke through the last of her desperate hopelessness, was merciful, or so they said.

Merciful, indeed. Merciful, for now she knew how cruel that promise had been. How had she managed to hold onto those words, as the world around her fell to ash? He hadn't remembered her at all, and she doubted he dwelled on the indefinite promise he'd made her. He hadn't remained the same, that she knew. He had risen to the top, left her to watch from far below as he became the star he had always dreamed of being. To believe he would return for her just because he had said so was ludicrous.

Yet, if by some twist of fate, he did come back?

"I'll come back for you," he'd said.

Those vague words would be her undoing.

She was like a rose who came into nothingness. 🥀🥀🥀 One summer morning of the month of May, where flowers bloom magnificently, Precious accidentally pricked her fingers from the thorns of roses because of a certain man who accidentally bumped her. The man took responsibility of her wounds and treated it in a gentle manner. That one incident turns into a blooming moment of her life, entering to the world she had never fathomed to be possible, pouring red into her world full of blues. 🥀🥀🥀 All men are the same, as what Precious Mae Damien believes. They are cheaters, players, and would combine any number of dishes to their liking at the same time. Her views about men were not like this before, but because of a certain man who has significance in her life, everything changed and it was her father who hurt her and her mother. After her father left them with broken promises and for another woman, everything changed in her life. She lost everything and she never found her way again. However, meeting Chase Haven Collins was certainly different. She slowly changed her views about men. He was like an effigy of light of hope and freedom who let her experience unfamiliar things and feel emotions she had never fathomed to be possible again. Yet, something happened that made her build a barrier for everything including Chase. Only darkness started engulfing her sight and embraced her body. She never knew her way to escape from it again and something pierced her heart like how the thorns of the roses pricked her fingers before. She realized that some things came into nothingness. 🥀🥀🥀 CURRENTLY REVISING Date Started Revising: December 22, 2022

"I got you something." He told her pulling away, while she watched him curiously until he pulled out a pandora bag. Her eyes widened at the necklace with an infinity symbol in crested with small little diamonds. "How you even afford this kari?" She questioned, unable to take her eyes off of it. "Shit, my savings." He rubbed the back of his head that possessed his starter loc twists. "That was so nice of you, you didn't have too." She smiled softly finally looking at him, "Can you put it on me?" He stood behind her and she moved her hair out of the way as he put it around her neck and clipped it back together. Her hand immediately went to it. "I'm never gone take it off." My Girl

64 parts Complete Mature

Cal Jackson's new life as a rockstar fails to account for one thing: the existence of the girl he loves. ***** "What are you thinking about?" she asks. "A song," I say. "A new song." I stare at the ocean as I sing the song that I wrote, something that comes from the darkest place of my heart. "Do you even know how gifted you are?" she whispers. "You're destined to be someone big, Cal." "Really?" "Yeah." ***** She's perfect in every way. Beautiful. Smart. Her bright future is right there in front of her eyes. While here I am. Ruined. No college, let alone a future. Just an image of a wannabe rockstar with tattoed arms and an old guitar. I knew that our story would be no less than that tragic Romeo and Juliet shit the moment I laid my eyes on her, but still, I can't resist her. The moment she whispers my name, "Cal," I lose all sanity. She becomes my melody, my lyrics, the song that keeps echoing in my ears. People call her Mia. I call her my Amy, her name crafted above my beating heart, tattoed on my skin. Amelia Davis is my girl. Mine. And only mine. © 2021 Anya Jayvyn. All Rights Reserved.
