While being chased by a pack of bloodthirsty wolves, Daniel fortunately stumbles upon a cabin in the middle of the woods.
In there, he meets a peculiar man. He lets Daniel stay and promise to guide him home once the storm is over. Daniel thought he was safe.
Little did he know that his rest was short.
Daniel breaks an orb, which was somehow suppose to protect them, and they need to travel to the stranger's 'world' to hide.
It turns out that the stranger was a falsely-accused criminal in his world and the king's men are still out to get him.
News allies form. Old enemies arise. Relationships deepen. Now the only problem that perturbs Daniel is to whether trust this stranger or not. He has to unravel his desolate past in order to truly know what is the truth behind that mask.

Loup seems to know more about the Guardians then anyone; he might even know Julia's family more than anyone; back when they were called Mubarak family. While Jonathan is more than determined to reach back to Julia, even though he knows that if he does see Julia; she'll die. Broken between his love for Julia and the fear of her dying before him. While Julia is broken between a new found hate of werewolves and fond memories of Loup and Jonathan. A tension grows as the werewolves find out about the truth whether the Guardians still live. Beyond love and the struggle to be normal and survive a war is starting to grow.Complete

The man tells her his name finally but he also reveals a dark horrible secret from his past which traumatized him for years, then she feels like she's actually falling in love with him. He knows everything about her, the reason she became human, the two powers she could have, the truth of how her father died. He begins to protect her life with his own. She was kept alive but not for pleasant reasons as the alpha of the murderous pack, Alpha Dominic decided to keep her as a punching bag for his anger. She becomes malnourished, weak and mute. After about 2 and a half years of dealing with this Alpha Dominic someone whisks her away again as her second mate as she was rejected before. They have their ups and downs but nothing is compared to what they have in stored, the new roller coaster they must ride to have a happily ever after, if you can call it that. I know the book starts slow, that's how I wanted it to be, to build to the exciting parts. It may be a drag, I know but it'll be worth it when the book speeds up with the roller coaster that Harmony has to ride, so to speak. Give it time and it'll spike your interest. The banging starts again but this time a lot louder. I can hear the girls screaming up stairs. I pick up my phone and dial 911. "Hello this is 911 what's your emergency?" "There are a bunch of wolves outside my house. I think they have rabies or something I'm not sure." The banging gets louder and I can feel my face getting wet from the tears. "Mamm did you say wolves are there?" "Yes Yes there are wolves about 10 of them out here in my front yard. I need help!" I hang up the phone and sit on the end of the stair case. The glass breaks and I start screaming. I stand up and try to scramble up the stairs. The door comes falling down and there are about 10 wolves standing in front of my door. A woman emerges and walks toward me. She snaps her fingers and the pretty brown wolf is in front of me. Right there by my face. "Ridanna you know what to do." Her teeth is wrapped around my neck and she sinks them in. I try to scream but it's hard to. At first it hurts but now the pain no longer exists. I feel like there is no such thing as pain and I feel light as if I can float off the Earth. Fine as hell white boy with a pro-black activist fall for each other. Cherise Miss Activist doesn't want to date Zaire the fine as hell white boy not for his race but for his secrets. What if he had a past he didn't tell you about and the only way you found out is because the past came to kill you? And I'm not talking werewolves and vampires. Cherise would only wish for problems for they would be so simple compared to hers and Zaire's.
