Through means sorcerous, Ioja the Octagon has learned of the final resting place of Aegyptus Juvens, a long-dead messiah who once combined the worlds of magic and natural law. The tomb of Aegyptus Juvens holds the Triocular, a device of great power that allows its wearer to see into all worlds, thus knowing the secrets of all sorcery. But it was not made for Ioja and he cannot wear it...yet.
