Faith has been cursed with a voice so beautiful, she has to stay silent. She wasn't born with it, rather she was transformed into a walking weapon at the ripe age of ten years old. After barely escaping with her life, she ends back up in the foster care system she was ripped out of. Now her only goal isto graduate and escape the country, but everything goes awry when she moves across the country to live with a new foster family, the Kurning's. With the fear of her past breathing down her neck, Faith does everything she can to protect the people that are slowly becoming her family. No matter what it takes, she won't let the people that ruined her old life, destroyher new family.

She's put up with a lot in her life, but she draws the line when her mate rejectes her infront of her whole school. All she wanted was someone to love her and care for her, when no one else would be there for her. But he crushed both her dreams and her heart, in one sentence. Two people fall in love in unlikely circumstances. They have a lot of psychological issues and mistrusts in the order of things to prevent them from finding themselves and each other. I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people. This story still is a work in progress, it has holes and it is to be continued
