Katrina Harrington didn't have the best start in life. Or a great center. Now, at the age of nineteen, she's diagnosed with Antisocial Personality Disorder and in a permanent state of disarray. After moving around the United States, living in semi-permanence for three years, she began a Psychology degree at the University of New Orleans.
She makes friends with a group whom she shares a therapy group with, but they all have their own problems and baggage that landed them there. Their lives gradually improve, until the fateful August 25th 2005 where Hurricane Katrina swept the city, leaving devastation it its' path.
