21 ice hockey players for the NHL, AHL and ECHL are either kidnapped by force or tricked into coming to the mysteriously abandoned "Masquerade Island" theme park. When they arrive, they learn that the host is nonexistent and that they've been abandoned. Also there is no way out. And to make matters worse, each of the "guests" are being murdered at random. At first it seems obvious to everyone who is killing, until that player is killed themselves.
So who is killing?
And who will survive the madness inside the park?

[Written for 2018 Christmas] ❝He sees you when you're asleep, he knows If you're awake❞ Christmas night was always about the fun for adults. Remembering the birth of Jesus Christ for religious people and getting presents from Santa Clause for children. That's why these ten teenagers arranged a sleepover in Germanotta Mansion, owned by one of the teenager's grandmother. The sleepover takes place at the huge empty room upstairs in the corner of the third floor right after the Christmas party that left these teenagers exhausted but that didn't stop them from playing a silly game called "The Midnight Game" where The Midnight Man comes to claim the player's life if they failed to stay away from him. The Game starts right at the midnight, you're advised to move around the house until the game ends at three thirty-three in the morning that's if you win, for the ones who lose, the game might end earlier than that along with their lives. Sure, it was fun running around acting like there's a man chasing you from behind until the real Midnight Man appeared releasing hell on the mansion. The adults were having fun drinking in an after-party at a bar while their kids were slaughtered one by one by The Midnight Man. However, the midnight man was not the only thing the teenagers should be worried about. Apparently, there's been a robbery going on inside the mansion since Mrs. Germanotta most valuable jewel went missing from her granddaughter, Evelyn's neck right after the game started. The teenagers were all terrified after finding out that they were locked inside a mansion possibly with a bunch of robbers and a supernatural killer hiding in the dark corners of the huge building without their parents nor cellphone line. One thing for sure, they have to keep moving to stay alive.Complete

In the Eastern Conference, there are two Toronato hotels full of certain teams. In Hotel X, Yanni Gourde tries to survive the 2020 SCP in a hotel where he is stuck with his worst enemies in the Bruins, Caps, Flyers and Pens (but he finds an unlikely ally in the form of Tyler Pitlick and Carter Hart). Meanwhile, in the Royal York Hotel, Sebastian Aho is making friends with Alex Texier, various Rangers and Jeppu when someone hacks the Hurricanes' social media account and posts some bad stuff and the hotel is turned upside down. In the Western Conference, things aren't any better. There are the same two hotels splitting up all the teams. At the JW Marriot Hotel in Edmonton, shenanigans accidentally lead to injury, disappearance and a lot of chaos, including Jamie Benn accusing the Blues of murder. Meanwhile, in the Sutton Place Hotel, Petey's food is stolen by Matthew Tkachuk causing JT Miller to lose it. At the front of the case is Mandy coming off solving the puzzle from summer with a false piece. She's dedicated to figuring out who's behind the mask and their motivations. Seemingly, the only path to do so is through those behind our clay face molds. But that'll prove to be challenging as we try to preserve ourselves, lives and reputation participating in Masquerade's series of twisted childlike games. A three-part (hat trick) story that I am basing off of this hilarious article I found. Aspiring is the first part of this, followed by Rookie Season and then finally the third part of Never Let You Go. Well I like hockey and I'm a fan of the mystery/thriller genre which involves kidnapping, so I combined them. So I hope you enjoy it. And yes, there may be some disturbing ideas later in this novel, but that's why I put the trigger warning up literally thousands of times with this. :) Sorry if this isn't your cup of tea, I just wanted to try something new and test out an interesting novel idea.
