It was a normal nation meeting. They held one annually at least 3 times a year. However, this meeting ended up turning the world on their heads. Their parents, the ancients, who have long since passed on cannot stand to watch their children suffer. With this a plan is formed to help, even if only just a little. A messenger from the ancients arrive with a book and wishes of happiness for the nations. They're stuck with no way out, in a space where time is separated from reality. They only have one way to leave, and that is to read. Through this book the true personality of the nations shine through. This is my first countryhumans story so it's not that good. East Germany knows he shouldn't be alive, yet here he is, living with the man who raised him. He never really questioned it though. He was just happy to be alive. That is until his adopted father starts struggling to heal himself as quickly as he used to and East starts to worry. The entire world that he lives in is beginning to unravel and East learns things he never could have imagined. There's also a lot of stuff about Russia in this and I don't know why. He's not even supposed to be a major character but I have like 7 chapter dedicated to him.
