In this story,  Marinette is a single girl age 27 years who owns her own bakery!  She happens to specialize in Macaroons.  She even has a slogan that says,  "Magnificent Macaroons or your money back."  She takes the time for every little detail to the very last drop.
    Adrien Agreste  is    a single man, age 29, adoptive father of one child, a son whose name is Stephen, and his also known as  the proud owner to his own magazine company.  What does he do when some strange woman insist he be the first to try her macaroons?
