TEARS OF BLOOD: Come, curious reader, for the tragic tale of La Llorona, a poor, lonely spirit that roams the banks of ditches, rivers, streams, and even beaches looking for children she lost long ago. Where did she come from? Long ago, she was a young woman named Charo with gorgeous magic eyes, but she also intimidated anyone who looked into them. Then everything changed when a strange man from a faraway land came to her village. Some of you reading might think you already know this tale, but do you know who her husband was? You should, because he's someone you know. Do you know what peculiar affliction Charo's children had due to who their father was? Well, dear reader, let me tell you the story of this lonely spirit through her eyes. THE DAY LA LLORONA LAUGHED: My name is Estrella Anaya; days ago, my son, Silvio, was taken by La Llorona; before she could disappear, I made a plea. I told her that if I could make her laugh, then she would have to give me back my son. She gave me a time frame of five years, after that, if I haven't made her laugh, I will never see my son again. I don't know what to do, but a dream I had last night might help me. Cover by @sen.gummii
