The same old classic story each of us were foreced to read, but with a little twist. Everything starts the same and follows the story relatively the same but, Jack and Ralph seem to understand each other much more this time. Will this change make the story end just like the original novel?

Basically a retelling of the original story in my way.

Everyone knows what happened to Jack Merridew in William Goulding's novel "Lord of the Flies," but what happened before that? What was his life like before the island? How did he become the "chapter chorister and head boy" that he is in the novel? This is the story of Jack's life before the island -- how he made the choir, when he became head boy, and everything in between -- and after the island. Because the question is, who was the real Jack Merridew? (There is some mild language in this story -- nothing too bad, I feel I have to say it just in case)(I do not own Lord of the Flies or it's characters. They belong to Sir William Golding)

{Sequel to 'I Promise.'} It has been a year since Ralph Murphy defied the odds and survived childbirth. If someone had asked him a year ago about his relationship with Jack Merridew, he would have answered positively; they were engaged, they had a son, they were both alive and happy. But now, Ralph doesn't feel as good about his relationship with Jack; they're fighting over trivial things, they're keeping secrets from each other, and when Jack's friends Maurice and Roger go through a heartbreaking situation, Ralph feels that Jack cares more about them than him. It isn't until Jack goes to a party with Roger, where he makes the biggest mistake of his life, that Ralph finally begins to realize that his and Jack's relationship is falling apart. Will Ralph be able to mend his relationship with Jack, or will Jack's mistake break that relationship for good?

Jace Summers is not your average high school boy, per se. He prefers being himself no matter what anyone else thinks about him, and he's proud of who he is. He has pastel pink hair, stunning deep brown eyes, and a sweet and silky voice that makes all of the girls swoon. Too bad he's gay though, and everyone knows it. Jace has been out to the world since seventh grade and he never got too much trouble from it, which he is thankful for, but he knows he would be okay even if he was bullied harshly. It's just who he is. Alec Walker is a whole other story, however. He is very basic, brown hair, hazel eyes, all-black attire, and he is well-known throughout the school but he doesn't consider himself to be one of the popular kids. He loves skateboarding and singing, has good grades. There's nothing overly unique about him- except his voice could make angels swoon. Both boys are different but not so different that you'd think they would dislike each other. Well, you would be wrong. They hate each other with burning passions. Sorry- hate is a strong word. They loathe each other with deep burning passions. Jace thinks Alec is a jackass know-it-all because that's how he comes off to a lot of people until you get to know him, and Alec thinks Jace is annoying with how he presents himself. Those seem like small things that could be easily overcome, however it's also their encounters in the halls or in classes that cause problems. By now it's just mutual hate that both boys are too stubborn to give up. But when one day they get news that seems like the end of the world... it turns out to be the best thing that has happened to both of them. Not at first, but with time. Read to find out what happens! (Also- it is a mystery to even me how long this story will be. I'll be posting chapters as I finish and we'll see how long it turns out to be. It could be my shortest with like four chapters, or my longest with thirty or more. You never know. I hope you enjoy it though!)

When the pilot's daughter crash-lands on a desert island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, all she wants to do is survive long enough to get rescued. After all, being the only girl on the island with a bunch of school boys and choir boys is no way to spend one's time. Except maybe with the elected chief, Ralph, the intellect, Piggy, the quiet friend and sage, Simon, and the littluns. What she wants most, though, is to keep away from that damn Jack Merridew, who's the most arrogant and annoying boy she's ever met and has some rather questionable friends. But as sparks start to fly between the two of them, the island starts to get more dangerous. Littluns whisper of a "snake-thing" in the woods, and the boys start to lose their grip on sanity and civilization. In the midst of all this, will she stay with the civilization she knows and lose the boy she loves, or stay with the boy she loves and lose the civilization she knows? Note: I will probably go back and edit as needed even when the story is completed.
