How could that be though? It goes against everything she's known since they killed her parents. A human saved her, and now she wants to find out why. She wants to learn all she can about this human.

Ayn's Healing by AMHillmann
54 parts Complete Mature
Ayn is a witch with healing powers. Shapeshifters have killed her parents and the only animals she cannot speak with are wolves. When she graduates from the Teaching Clan and finds out that she has to cross the River and live in the Wolves' Mountains for one year, she is less than amused. Kari, first-born shapeshifter Alpha, almost lost his wolf after the death of his mate. He could rise again and become the pack leader if only he would complete his training ...and find another suitable Luna. When he realizes that his second chance is his mother's guest, a daydreaming stubborn witch from across the River, he is less than amused. The bond may be a strong force, but can a witch walk the Wolves' Way and face the dangers it is paved with? **** "I need to stop..." I sigh, catching her wrist before her fingers reach the back of my neck, and I untangle her arm from me. She lingers on the recliner but now there is a big gap between our bodies. The warmth she left on my skin is quickly dissipating in the spring night. "Fine." Ayn stands and searches my eyes. Her scowl has my wolf whimper in submission and makes me curse my self-imposed hard line. "I am going to need your hoodie," she orders, stretching her hand out to me. "What?" I exclaim, briefly shocked by both the tone and the content of her words. My hands however are already executing her command, unzipping my jacket. "The last time I was able to sleep, I was covered with your hoodie. Your scent is comforting." She states it plainly as if it would be an obvious and broadly known fact. Like the Earth being round. Like two being a prime number. #1 in Healer - December 2021 #7 in Lycan - December 2022 ~95 000 words Cover photo by Jr Korpa via Unsplash Cover photo by Marc-Olivier Jodoin via Unsplash hi

"What I'm about to tell you, you can't tell anyone else. My life depends on it. One slip, and I'll cease to exist. Don't make me regret trusting you." * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * June has been living in fear her entire life. Her world is full of secrets and deceit. One wrong move and everything could go immensely wrong. The only person she dares to trust, Axel, is the only other one like her kind. Having to live a lie is catching up with her. The walls she's built to protect herself are crumbling down, brick by brick. She's injured, wounded so that she has to rely on someone else. Someone else who might turn out to her unknowing savior -- or ruin. But when Axel suddenly disappears, it'll take all her wits to find him. She'll have to battle her new-found feelings every step of the way. It might even take revealing her darkest secret to her rescuer. June teams up with an unlikely band, tracking down Axel's path and fighting his captors for his rescue. Will she succeed? It's anyone's guess. * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * My vision was growing ever more blurry with each second that passed. Breathing seemed like a luxury now and my legs wanted to give out and let me collapse. Almost there. We were so close. So close. I fell, completely spent. Axel glanced over his shoulder and screeched to a halt, sprinting back over. I could see the worry in his eyes. I could faintly hear him calling my name. My body was throbbing as I gazed with glazed eyes at the street tiles. The last thing I saw before my vision turned dark was dirty blonde hair and a pair of sky blue eyes. * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * Updates every Saturday

---Completed--- Laura Winters has an ordinary life - well she had an ordinary life. That changed the day the werewolves attacked her. Now Laura one of them. But she's more than a giant ugly, bloodthirsty monster. She has the brain of her human self, but otherwise is nothing like any other werewolf. She is a wolf. Not a big ugly werewolf. A wolf. A human. A hybrid. But not one of them. That is where the werewolves made their mistake; their massive mistake. They just made their enemy stronger. --- Being a Shape Shifter was not in Laura's chosen future. Now she has to deal with that and her social life. There are many things she can't go or do. Such as, going near humans on her favourite time of the month - full moons. She also needs to make show her superhuman abilities don't show while in human form. That means, running extra slow, nor hitting anything or anyone. And that's not the end of it. Will she be able to keep her secret hidden?
