After escaping an unfortunate event in her past she has decided to isolate herself from her mother and stepfather, as well as the people around her, through reading books. From her experience as a fourteen year old the previous year, she found it easiest to be alone and read at school, not interacting. Her mother not being much help, moved on too fast pushing her daughters feelings aside. Little did her daughter know, just how much that would change her.
