It's hard enough the the Russian Empire is being invaded by French forces, tearing the country to shreds. But when Anastasia Petrov's husband leaves to go fight, leaving her alone with their eight year old daughter Ekaterina.

Alone and isolated in her small village, the winter snow setting in. Anastasia struggles to tame her wild daughter, unable to listen and learn.

Then the dreams start and the weird happenings. With the threat of an attack coming at any minute, with Anastasia's mental state starting to deteriorate she can only help but wonder, is it in her head? Is she going insane? Is something coming after her? As the tension gets worse and worse inside herself, will she and her daughter survive?
