Fear has always been a part of man, it's innate as breathing, you have about as much control over it as a blink. You can hold it, but eventually the world comes to a close. Now what if some one, or rather some thing, carved themselves into your soul in such a way that it never leaves your blood, so that it becomes a part of you, a part of everything after you, a fear so deep that your children's children will never forget?
Brunsworth has statisically faced surges of crime in October, eight years going on nine if anyone cares to listen. This year seems no different, and Detective Hale Joyner has the case files to prove it. A missing woman, a butchering on a once quiet city, a pair of feet with no body or blood in sight. It seems like any other month, but the moon is waxing and it's threatening to pour red unto the city.
