The nameless City thrives undisturbed within unpredictable chaos.
From the twisting mountains to the sleepless cities; from the booming factories to the endless straights, every District has their share of squealing tyres and growling creatures, racing under carbon hoods across pure, smoking asphalt.
Battle erupted everywhere anytime. Weightless drift machines, spearheaded speed demons, roaring monsters built for strips, you name it. There's always something to hear, something to know, someone to beat, someone to defeat.
The nameless City lies dormant, oblivous and unknown to its antics.
Then came a man in a helmet.

Even if the circumstances meant changing responsibilities and priorities, any old piece of junk can become a legend on the streets in the right pair of hands. Stunningly Ruined
~ I put my foot down and drive to the first corner. The track is always wet at the start of the day as the water truck is able to go out and keep it that way, but by the end of the day all the water will have been used so it will be bone dry and that's when the real fun begins. I pull the hydro, the chrome shaft that's connected to my rear brakes, to lock the rear wheels so I can initiate a drift. I feather the throttle accordingly as to keep the car sideways and continue onto the next corner... This is it. Nothing else matters. Just me, my car, their car and the sound of tyres tearing rubber against the drying tarmac... ~ ~ "Laurie, you got something..." He trails off as his thumb brushes my lips enough to turn my head towards him. Before I know it, the space between us is closing and my body is frozen. His lips draw ever closer to mine and involuntarily, my back arches so my mouth presses against his. My lips burn with passion as I find myself unable to stop kissing him. Given his halfa nature, he's fairly not worried about most parts of Gotham and given he needs less sleep now, he likes to wander campus and Gotham itself like he's a natural Gothathes...at night like the half dead-half living man he was. During these wanderings, he finds pieces of bat tech from fights. He figures it's safer in his care(and because he's really curious about the local vigilantes) so...he takes it. It's usually just tiny things that the bats- probably -wouldn't even notice gone and he has things to fiddle with now. Unfortunately(for the bats), he finds Red Hood's destroyed helmet and takes it back to his dorm to fix, figuring it would allow him to return most of the items he snatched without a second thought. He doesn't realize it has an active tracker in it so the bats, when they activate it and discover it on the Gotham University campus, reasonably panic and flip on the camera...only to come face to face with adoption bait using bits of their missing tech to fix the helmet. (Warning: There is a brief scene of vomiting)Concluida
