Daemen Marquez is a 19-year-old college senior, finishing up his final year with his twin brother, Damean. They're just two regular guys trying to figure out life after graduation. Well-mostly. While Daemen is still single, Damean has already fallen for someone: Cassey Brookes, the student body Vice President. Damean works as her secretary, and somewhere along the way, they became more than just a team. Daemen's happy for his brother, even if their lives are clearly heading in different directions. At 5'11", Daemen gives off chill beach-guy vibes-tan skin, messy hair, golden-brown eyes behind his glasses, and a laid-back attitude to match. He's never been in a rush to fall in love. "A lover can wait," is what he always says. Even if a part of him still wonders about his childhood friend, Dani. Enter Atlas Lohellia-20 years old, 6'3", sharp, charming, and the student body President. Somehow, he and Daemen became unexpected friends during their last year of college. One night, Atlas caught Daemen stress-eating a pile of sweets and gave him a new nickname: "Sweety." At first, it was just a joke-some light teasing between friends. But soon, things started to shift. Atlas's teasing turned softer. His glances lingered longer. And Daemen started to feel... something. Something confusing. Something new. Is this just friendship with a twist, or could something real be growing between them?

Megan Stewart hasn't known much happiness. She's only 17, but her life has been hard. However, despite all that she's been through, Megan keeps a smile on her face. Meet Jared Wesly. He's the bad boy of the school. However, he's not so much a bad boy. He's simply misunderstood. Only, he's been through quite a lot, just like Megan. In fact, they have more in common than Megan knows. When Jared and Megan's worlds collide (quite literally), Megan finds herself drawn to the boy that annoys her to no end, teases her, but makes her feel happy and protected, something almost unknown to her. Megan must make a choice in the end: Does she take a chance with the familiar boy, or does he become another "What if?" in her life? NOTE: I first wrote this story when I was around 13-14, so there will be cliches and cringe-worthy writing at moments. *Caution: Some language*
