The Star-Spangled Daughter (Avengers x Reader) ON HOLD

"I should give you a new nickname, Cap. One that's just for me to use."

"And what would it be, Little Star?"

"How about a mixture between Cap and Popsicle... What about Pops?"

Y/N is a young girl who has been taken prisoner by HYDRA - a corrupt organisation hell-bent on taking over the world - for no reason, according to her. They've tortured her, tormented her, and have almost broken her to her core.

However, one day, little Y/N is broken out by none other than the Director of SHIELD, Nick Fury, and is soon thrown into an unknown world of action, adventure and - intergalactic space beings?

As a twelve year old, Y/N can't handle all the pressure it may take to save the world. However, the young girl finds solace in a humble hero - the Star-Spangled symbol of America himself.

Y/N must navigate through this new life, and use the help of her new family, the Avengers, to save not just the world, but the universe. Will she be able to do it? Will Cap, and the other Avengers, be able to guide Y/N through the dangerous universe, and stay alive? Or will Y/N fall to darkness, and lose her last chance at a family and love?
