In "Finding Light" we follow the journey of Alisha, a young woman whose name means "protected by God, yet she often feels abandoned by fate. At just 20, she grapples with the scars of a painful past, having endured trauma that has left her feeling isolated and betrayed. After a tumultuous relationship with Martinez, where love morphed into heartbreak and abandonment, Alisha embarks on a quest for healing and self-discovery. As she navigates her way through college as a nursing student and an entrepreneur with a budding hair growth business, Alisha confronts her childhood trauma and the emotional barriers that keep her from forming genuine connections. Despite her successes, loneliness lingers, pushing her to seek deeper friendships and authentic relationships. When she meets Sara, a fellow entrepreneur, Alisha begins to open her heart to the possibility of friendship and support. Through their bond, she learns to balance her solitary nature with the joy of connection, ultimately discovering her own strength and resilience. "Finding Light" is a poignant tale of overcoming darkness, learning to trust again, and embracing the beauty of self-love and community. Alisha's journey reminds us that healing is not a destination, but a continuous path filled with hope, courage, and the promise of brighter days ahead.
