"Sometimes I think you're the worst thing that ever happened to me" I muttered.
"How so?" He said, eyes flitting over my face.

"Because you only had to smile to turn my entire world upside down" I whispered.
"Oh" He said and I laughed a little hysterically under my breath. Is that all he can think to reply?
"Does it help that I love you?" He asked, and he's teasing even though the words are true.
"A little" I admitted, a smile tugging the corners of my mouth.

Today is the day Liv wakes up. In love with someone who barely knows she exists, she decides enough is enough. She cuts off all ties with him: but everyday at school is a test. A test to see if she can be indifferent; if she can walk by him and not even notice he's there.

But everything changes when she meets Spencer Yates. He transforms her life in a matter of weeks.
She can now be the version of herself she has so desperately been fighting against: the unpredictable one, the fun one, the one who's noticed.
But nothing is ever simple in Liv's life and it quickly becomes obvious it is the same in Spencer's. Will their new friendship survive?
