Alisa DeVill'd has never been out of Italy. She helped her father with the family restaurant on Sunday nights, meanwhile working several day jobs during the week and studying on Saturday, staying up late into Sunday. Needless to say, Sicily meant exhaustion.

The first time she connected, it was with a German man. The second was with a Korean woman. And then, they all came. Eight people from around the world, all stuck inside of Alisa's head. At first, it only happened when she needed them, or they needed her. Then, it was when she and the person with whom she was connecting were thinking of one another. Finally, she could connect with them at will.

But, they were in trouble. The sapiens wanted to kill all of them. A man by the name of Milton and many other aliases was the one working hardest to do so, despite him being a sensorium. Together, they all must stop him, along with other sapiens and sensoriums, meanwhile trying to find more of their kind.
