Paris and her mother live out in the woods. Her mother hides Paris in fear of her getting hurt from learning more about her abilities. After Paris reveals that she can see spirits, she is kidnapped and taken across the country. As Paris learns more about her family and her abilities, she finds herself asking: if she should listen to her mother or take a chance to become something new?
