Cassidy Jennings is 24 years old and has been through more than she ever imagined she could survive. She tries to stay away from anything that could throw her into an adventure and working in her grandfather's 24/7 milkshake bar in the small coastal town she grew up in doesn't lend itself to many adventures, which is perfect for her. Even so, when a mysterious and imposing stranger comes in to the bar in the middle of the night, she can't help but be captivated by him.

Ryder McAllister has been to hell and back far too often in his 26 years. He has seen things that would give even the toughest soldier nightmares. He is haunted by the things he has done. So when his sleepless nights lead him to the strange 24/7 milkshake bar, and he meets a colorful young woman he is afraid his darkness will douse the fire he sees in her, but he just can't seem to stay away.

She is day and he is the night.
She is the ocean and he is the shore.

Could a Milkshake hold the answers they both yearn for?
Or will the night close in before they get the chance to find their redemption?
