Everything changed after the Kamino incident that happened eleven years ago. The victory acheived by Symbol of Peace seemed to be temporary as quirk society slowly fell apart over time. Criminals and villains became stronger as heros became corrupt, leaving a hypocritical game of cat and mouse on the surface as deals got carried out in the backrooms.

Despite the degradation of Japan's hero society after losing the Symbol of Peace, the balance somehow started levelling itself back in place, not because of a symbol.... but a myth, a ghost that made criminals question their own actions in fear, a legend that the people would believe in, a rumor that surpassed any symbol.

After failing to develop a quirk and missing the mark to get OFA from All Might, Izuku became a vigilante to save the people ignored by heroes and in danger during the night, all under the guise of being a normal highschool student and son during the day. One late night, after working himself to exhaustion, Izuku is found at his breaking point, feverish and alone, by pro-hero, UA teacher, and future father-figure Eraserhead. Will the world be able to look beyond the lack of a quirk and see this boy as a hero? With the help of his new friends in Class-1A and All for One at large, Izuku's quirklessness might be exactly what they need to fix everything. . . . . TW: vomiting/illness (repeatedly), bullying (physical, verbal, mental abuse), self harm, purging behavior, fighting/rebellious behavior, suicidal ideation & discussion.
